Veuchelen started his cycling career at the age of 22 after completing studies in physical education in Leuven. He achieved five victories in 2003 in hilly Belgian competitions and made the transition to the professional level a year later. The peak of his career is when he won Vlaanderen in 2006. Fleming has only been cycling for nine years which is why he is still very ambitious and is eager to progress in future years. He dedicated himself to the team last year but Frederik is aiming to be in the spotlight in 2010.
